In fact, I really enjoy doing this project, because I can paint in the style I like. Additionally, the theme of this time makes me want to do a lot of experiments and present some bread and cakes in another way. For example, I use thick cardboard to make out the pink artwork. This thing looks like it was inspired by a cake, but I actually wanted to make this because of the bread. I saw a lot of holes in the bread. Furthermore, It is to say the historical event of the people’s capture of the Bastille, so the work was inspired by bread and combined style like decoration of the cake. Nowadays, there are only portraits of nobles, and I have never seen portraits of poor people. Therefore, I want to cover the bread with some decorations of the cake, mainly to say that the Rococo period looked like a very happy and beautiful era, but there are still some poor people who are worried about three meals every day.
