Last time, I mainly used wool instead of other special things, so this time I want to challenge myself and see how to make it with something different. Not materials that can be bought at the stationery store. This is one of my favourite samples. In fact, this sample is inspired by bread. Although the shape of the bread seems to have nothing to do with this. In fact, my inspiration comes from the bread because the shape of the bread is tied by a lot of threads. It takes her to become such a deformed shape. This makes me think again. I feel that Marie Antoinette is very much like a nobleman and responds to a queen. Although she was born everyone envied her, she actually can’t do anything. She can only be responsible for dressing up and appearing in front of everyone every day. Consequently, I took a lot of cotton, and then wrapped them with the brushed-back cloth, like this square shape, and then used the same thread that I said before, but this time I used purple. And there are ribbon candles on it that look very flashy. The main point of this sample is that I dyed the fabric with acrylic paint. Therefore, it took me many days to make this, because I had to dry the fabric after dyeing it because I forgot to dye the cloth first and then put the cotton in, so I dyed the cotton inside with it.
I bought fabric for washing back at MUJI. When I go shopping, I always check to see if this store has any materials that are suitable for the project. When I see the brush back fabric, I think it suits this topic very well.
